Bengaluru: Karnataka has reported 12 new COVID-19 cases for the second time in a row today (April 7). There are now 175 COVID-19 cases in the state, of which four are deaths and 25 are recoveries.
According to the latest news bulletin released by the state health department, two COVID-19 – Patient 166 (an 80-year-old female from Gadag) and Patient 175 (a 57-year-old man from Kalaburagi) – have a history of Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI).
Patients 164 (a 33-year-old man from Bagalkote), 167 (a 29-year-old man from Bengaluru), 168 (a 50-year-old man from Bengaluru), and 169 (a 35-year-old man from Bengaluru Rural) had attended the Tablighi Jamaat meet in New Delhi between March 13 and 18.
Patient 165 is a 41-year-old Bagalkote resident. She is a neighbour of Patient 125.
Patient 170 has a history of travel to Dubai. He is a 68-year-old Bengaluru resident.
Patients 171 (a 32-year-old man), 172 (a 36-year-old man) and 173 (a 65-year-old man) are all residents of Mandya. They are all contacts of Patients 134, 135, 136, 137 and 138.
Patient 174 is the 28-year-old daughter-in-law of Patient 124. She is a resident of Kalaburagi.
