K’taka reports 5 Omicron cases including total 3 in Udupi, M’luru

Bengaluru: After the Omicron cluster outbreak in Mangaluru, three more cases have been reported on the morning of Monday December 20.

According to the authorities, an 82-year- old man and 73-year- old woman from Udupi tested positive for Omicron. Meanwhile, another girl student also tested positive in Mangaluru.

On Monday morning, a total of five new Omicron cases have been reported from the State. This includes cases from Dharwad and Bhadravati in Shivamogga District.

With this, the total number of cases in State has touched 19.

State Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar has confirmed this through his official Twitter handle.
