Bengaluru: Healthcare and frontline employees, as well as senior citizens with comorbidities, will receive their third/precautionary dose of Covid vaccination from Monday January 10.
People who have completed nine months after second dose are eligible to get the third shot.
The third dose of the vaccination must be the same as the previous two. In Karnataka, nearly 8.9 lakh frontline employees have been fully vaccinated, according to data from the state’s Health and Family Welfare Department.
Although the government has stated that senior individuals with comorbidities will be given the precautionary dose, no documents showing comorbidity is required.
