Bengaluru: In order to attract domestic and international tourists to these places, The Karnataka State Tourism Department has begun Heli Tourism Project in a bid attract international as well as domestic tourists.
While Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation has signed Memorandum of Understanding with Thumby Aviation Pvt. Ltd. and Chipsan Aviation Pvt. Ltd, helicopter operators for five years.
KSTDC will provide support to these agencies for getting various Government approvals, permits etc, tie up with resorts/hotels and also permission to use Government-owned helipads.
