Bengaluru: Former Minister and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Working President R. Ramalinga Reddy on Saturday January 23 questioned the Basavaraj Bommai-led BJP Government whether lifting the weekend curfew was a political decision or a decision after taking expert opinion.
Addressing mediapersons on Saturday January 22, Reddy said if the decision is taken after discussing with experts, then why weekend curfew is relaxed when Coronavirus cases are surging in the State.
Reddy also questioned why the kin of just 5 per cent of the 37,000 have been compensated.
