Bengaluru: Following repeated increase in the LPG rate and skyrocketing of the vegetable prices, the hotels in the City revised the fares of all the products between 5 to 10 per cent.
It is the first rate revision in the last four years.
According to the hotel owners, coffee and tea rate increased by Rs. 2 while the meals rate increased by Rs.10.
“The new prices will come into effect from Monday November 8 itself. There is a huge increase in the LPG and vegetable rates. So, we are left with no option,” informed P. Chandrasekhar Hebbar, President of the State Hotel Owners’ Association.
This has come as a big shocker for the people who were dependent on hotels for their daily food.
