Bengaluru: Kodagu DC PI Sreevidya directed the PWD department officials and the police to allow vehicle movement on Bengaluru-Mysuru-Madikeri-Sullia-Mangaluru road, which was destroyed in the August 16 flood and landslides.
This road was blocked for the vehicle movement on August 16, but after nearly three months of repair work, now the road has been repaired and upgraded.
As per the DC order, all the vehicles are allowed to use this road. This means, the direct road connectivity between Kodagu and Dakshina Kannada has been restored and passengers can reach easily.
“All the restrictions and barricades have been removed as per the DC’s order,” informed authorities.
