Bengaluru: Former prime minister HD Deve Gowda announced that he is attending a meeting convened by Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu in New Delhi on Monday to discuss the proposal of Maha Ghatabandan OT the Grand Alliance for the general election 2019.
“Naidu invited me to the meeting in which senior leaders of all the national and regional parties are attending. Our aim is defeating the communal forces in the 2019 election,” he stated.
“In Karnataka, JDS-Congress alliance will continue even in the 2019 general election. Soon we will hold discussions about the seat sharing,” he stated.
“Our first target is defeating the communal forces,” he said.
He also expressed confidence that CM HD Kumaraswamy will complete the five years term in the office. “There is no threat to the state government,” he said.
