Bengaluru: According to sources, an FIR has been filed against those who protested outside the residences of Congress officials over Mahadayi River dispute.
On February 14, a protest was staged against the Congress’ Goa election manifesto, in which the part promised not to allow Karnataka to avail Mahadayi River water.
As the protesters did not seek prior permission for their protest, a case has been filed against them based on a complaint filed by Sadashivanagar Police Station Head Constable Manjunath.
Karnataka State Labour Parishad State President Dr. Ravi Shetty Bendoor, Kumar of Nagamangala and K. N. Kumar were among the protesters.
