Bengaluru: Raju (40), a laborer has been detained by the police on charges of attempting to murder his wife.
The couple who was living separately for the past one year, had a verbal fight on Thursday. Enraged Raju, who was suspecting that his wife was having an affair, slit her throat. Her relatives immediately shifted her to the hospital.
Gangamma (35) works as a domestic help and the couple has two children.
The police have taken Raju into custody on charges of attempt to murder.
