Bengaluru: On Thursday December 23, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested a man with drug worth Rs. 1.5 crore.
According to sources, the arrested accused identified as Benjamin Sunday, an African citizen. He is also wanted in connection with two drug seizures in Chennai and in Australia.
Benjamin is said to be married to an Indian and was involved in import and export of drug.
968 gm of amphetamines and 2.889 kg of ephedrine were seized by authorities.
The drugs were allegedly concealed in a hole in three wooden tie boxes. Each box had 165 gm of amphetamines, two backrests contained 237 gm and 236 gm of amphetamines, and two metal pulley contained 1.811 gm and 1.078 kilogrammes of ephedrine, respectively.
