Bengaluru: Former Water Resources Minister M. B. Patil who was appointed as the President of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Campaign Committee on January 25 will take charge on March 28.
According to a statement by AICC General Secretary K. C. Venugopal, the appointment has been approved by AICC President Sonia Gandhi.
In an election year, Patil will be In-Charge of developing a strategy for elections and campaigning, as well as identifying campaign leaders, communication, and publicity.
With regard to election, he will work closely with KPCC President D. K. Shivakumar.
