Bengaluru: Around 30 Congress leaders have been thrust with one more FIR, taking the FIR tally to four. Congress Chief D. K. Shivakumar and his brother D. K. Suresh , MP of Bengaluru Rural as well were included in FIR.
In the FIR filed on Thursday January 13 at Ramanagara Police Station, the complainant has mentioned that the Congress violated the Covid – 19 norms during Mekedatu padayatra. The first FIR was filed on Sunday January 9 the same day that Congress started padayatra. On Tuesday January 11 the second FIR included 40 Congress leaders, and on Wednesday January 12 the third FIR filed.
Due to these developments and also as per the order of Karnataka High Court, Congress decided to stop padayatra.
