Bengaluru: The State Government has decided to charge State Congress leader D. K. Shivakumar and Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for violating Covid protocols during their march seeking the Mekedatu project’s implementation.
“We are going to file a case against Padayatra. Cases will be made against everybody who breaks the law, not just them. No matter who it is and how big the leader is,” Chief Minister Bommai said.
Shivakumar informed that, “Yes, I have received a notice. The notice was sent by the BJP. It does not follow the rules and regulations. You should refer to the Supreme Court order on section 144. This is all a political ploy.”
