Bengaluru: A campaign gas been launched in social media by a certain section demanding resignation of Primary and Secondary Education Minister B. C. Nagesh.

The social media protest has been taken up accusing him of brahminisation of textbooks in State. This comes in the wake of rumours persisting of the references of Bhagat Singh, Sara Abubaker, and Narayan Guru being dropped from the Social Science and Kannada textbooks.

However, it can be recalled here that Karnataka Textbook Society and Nagesh clarified that the chapters related to Bhagat Singh have not been dropped.
