Bengaluru: Minister in waiting NA Haris’s son is allegedly involved in an assault case in the city and the incident might put Haris in a fix.
Mohammed Umar is said to have assaulted a bar tender in a pub located at Shanthinagar, Haris’ constituency. The victim, who’s name is not disclosed had lodged a complaint against Umar in Shanthinagar police station stating that a person called Umar assaulted him after he was refused to serve drinks after the bar was closed.
“You know who am I? Son of an MLA. How dare you refuse to obey my order?” the assaulter had reportedly shouted at the bar tender.
However, while the police allegedly refused to register complaint, Haris and his son have denied the incident. Albeit, Haris said that some miscreant had used his name and neither him nor his son had anything to do with the same.
Meanwhile, another assault on a security guard case was reported against Umar six months ago.
