Bengaluru: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D. K. Shivakumar on Friday November 19 held a meeting with Congress General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala to finalise candidates for the upcoming MLC elections in the State.
He was speaking to mediapersons he said that the party was clear while selecting the candidates who will be in fray, and there is no confusion. Party has decided to give tickets to loyalists, he asserted.
Shivakumar said that the party will select strong candidates wherever there are two aspirants, and added that after another round of meeting candidates would be finalised.
