Bengaluru: More schools are receiving bomb threats in the City from unknown miscreants.
It can be recalled that on Saturday April 9, over 16 schools received bomb threats. Now, this number touched 22 schools.
According to the authorities, these schools had a holiday on Saturday and Monday and when they opened their official email, they found the threat emails.
The police confirmed that all were hoax threats and no explosives were found near any school.
However, as a precautionary measure, the police carried out investigations on the school premises. Police confirmed that one of the schools that received the hoax call is a prestigious school in the heart of the City.
The police have registered FIRs against unknown persons. They also sought the help of technical experts and email service providers to trace the culprits.
