Bengaluru: The Ministry of External Affairs on Saturday February 12 stated that motivated global comments over internal issues were not welcome.
This comes as a retort to US Government body monitoring and reporting religious freedom abroad criticised Karnataka State on Hijab row. It had stated, “hijab bans in schools violated religious freedom and stigmatized and marginalized women and girls.”
This statement from Ministry of External Affairs comes amid global criticism over the Hijab row in the State.
