Bengaluru: Sri Rama Sene Chief Pramod Muthalik on Sunday May 8 said that Hanuman Chalisa or Omkara or Suprabhata or devotional songs will be played beginning Monday May 9 at 5.00 am in over 1,000 temples of the State.

Speaking to mediapersons he alleged that the State Government has failed to take action against loudspeakers installed at mosques, and hence the decision. Across the State, temple priests, Dharmadarshis and management committees have given a positive response and agreed to our decision.

He further alleged that the Government was trying to disturb Sri Rama Sene’s protest by warning temple committees using the police. He warned the sene workers will not budge to such high-handedness by the State Government. Show this high-handedness mosques’ using loudspeakers. He reminded the BJP that they have come into power due to Hindu votes. We will protest peacefully, he added.

It can be recalled here that earlier, Sri Rama Sene had warned that it will counter morning Azaan with playing of Hanuman Chalisa or Omkara or Suprabhata or devotional songs from 5.00 am.
