National parties behind Hubballi violence, says HDK

Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy has reacted to Hubballi violence through series of tweets on Sunday April 17. National parties are backing social media to give push to certain divisive narratives, he stated as part of his tweet.

Taking to twitter he said that the divisive forces are making of use of religion to gain politically. In a series of tweets, Kumaraswamy alleged that Congress and BJP are trying to divide society on communal lines. All this is to gain political mileage just ahead of elections, he observed.

Stating people to be cautious of such parties, he called on social media warriors to talk more and.more on unemployment, and price hike among others.

He also praised the Hubballi Police for controlling the law and order situation in the region.
