Bengaluru: Bengaluru has the highest number of over-speeding-related accidents among India’s 89 major cities, according to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).
According to the data, there were 2,993 accidents caused due to over-speeding. This has resulted in the deaths of 596 people and injured 2650 others.
The areas of Yelahanka, Chikkajala, KR Puram, and Electronics City in Bengaluru had the most accidents.
Experts also suggest that the majority of accidents in the City happen early in the morning and late at night when traffic is at the lowest.
