Mangaluru: Atal Incubation Center NITTE and Karnataka Bank Limited (KBL) came together, along with the members of the MSME Industry to celebrate the best of MSMEs at the NITTE-KBL MSME Conclave & Business Awards 2022, at Hotel Ocean Pearl on September 24. Nitte-KBL MSME Conclave – 2022 organized by AIC Nitte Incubation Centre and Karnataka Bank and Co-sponsored by Union Bank of India and Bank of Baroda and associate sponsored by Canara Bank, the Campco Limited.
The Nitte-KBL Conclave 2022 was inaugurated by Vishal Hegde Pro-chancellor at Nitte University. Balachandra, Chief Operating Officer, Karnataka Bank and CA K Ullas Kamath, Founder UK&Co. Bengaluru were present as guests. Vishal Hegde while delivering his Inaugural address explained the need to enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs in the ever-changing Business environment. He appealed to the owners of MSMEs to adopt a transparent system in Managing the day-to-day operations and always strive for excellence. The Conclave experienced five-panel sessions on enhancing the competitiveness of the MSMEs and its implementation towards business growth. The industry leaders addressed the MSMEs, who participated wholeheartedly and, in vibrant colours. Also, the investment firms (VC/Angels) met select MSMEs to assess the feasibility of investment options in the promising enterprises.
Managing MSMEs during uncertain times – Challenges and Solutions was the main topic of the Conclave. The First session was Strategies for enhancing the competitiveness of MSMEs by CA K Ullas Kamath, Founder UK&Co. The Second session was the Transformation of MSMEs through digital technologies by Tridib Bhattacharjee Founder, Astramind Consulting and Keshav Reddy, Chief Revenue Officer, E2E Networks Ltd. The Third session was Schemes & Incentives for MSMEs presented by CA SS Nayak, MSME & Finance Expert and Ramesh Bhat, General Manager, Karnataka Bank. The Fourth session was The Logistics and Supply Chain Management – Emerging Trends presented by Krishna Sumanth, Karpine Technologies Pvt Ltd and Burhan Surti, Founder, Logibee.
Penal discussion & Question and Answer sessions were with MSMEs participants by banking experts.
