Bengaluru: Clarifying on the controversial incident where a personal assistant was allegedly seen tying the Chief Minister’s shoelace in Mysuru, Siddaramaiah said that nobody was putting his shoelace on.
The CM on Sunday tweeted to clear the air about the episode which was being highlighted on TV channels all day. “I want to clarify that nobody was putting my shoelace on. The photo in question was taken while a relative had bent down to look for my shoes,’’ tweeted the CM (@CMofKarnataka) in the evening.
It may be recalled, a video clip showing CM Siddaramaiah’s personal assistant allegedly tying his shoelace in Mysuru on Saturday created a buzz on social media on Sunday. The incident is said to have occurred when Siddaramaiah, after paying his last respects, was coming out of the house of veteran Kannada actor Chetan Rama Rao who died in Mysuru on Saturday.
