Bengaluru: A government office has been booked for collecting the B-form on behalf of a Congress candidate in fray for upcoming MLC elections.
Excise Inspector Sunil B. M. Is the officer booked under Representation of the People Act. The complaint was filed by Election Officer Vijay Kumar N. filed a complaint in this regard after Sunil’s photo of receiving the B-form from Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D. K. Shivakumar on behalf of Congress candidate A. V. Gayathri Shanthegowda at Party Headquarters here came to light.
High Grounds Police in the City have registered a case against Sunil under various sections of the Act. The case was filed on Friday November 26 after the 8th ACCM Court’s permission to lodge an FIR against Sunil.
