Bengaluru: Even though all students have been promoted from II PUC without examination, the biggest number of government quota BE seats fell vacant this year as compared to the last five years.

With another 25,000 students likely to leave the seats after medical, dental, Ayush and other health science courses admission round, the situation is likely to turn grim.
According to data, the government quota had 64,484 seats available this year. Among them 23,001 were unfilled.
There were 6,780 seats available in 2020 and 22,800 seats are unfilled. In 2019, out of the 55,640 available seats, 21,360 are left vacant.
