Bengaluru: A software engineer who came under the wheels of a speeding BMTC bus, died on the spot at B Narayanapura bus stop near KR Puram. The deceased has been identified as Noman Naushad, a techie working at Whitefield.
According to the KR Puram traffic police, Noman was on his way to his office on his bike. “Near the B Narayanapura bus stop, a speeding BMTC bus hit the bike wheels. The bike skid and the bus ran over the youth. Over speeding and the negligence of the driver caused the accident,” they informed.
Noman Naushad was a resident of Kalyananagar in the city.
The bus driver has been arrested.
