Bengaluru: Revenue Minister R Ashoka on Thursday October 21 said all the people from Karnataka stranded flood ravaged Uttarakhand are completely safe.
Speaking to media persons he said that all the 96 people have been identified and that they belong to 10 families. “All are safe and we have been in touch with them. Proper measures for safety and their safe return has been ensured,” he added.
Elaborating on the tremors felt at Gadikeshwar in Kalaburagi District, Minister said that he has visited the spot and taken stock of the situation. Further, the government has taken up measures to construct temporary sheds for the affected families. The needed funds too have been allocated to the District Administration to take up relief works,” he informed.
