Bengaluru: Former Minister and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Working President Ramalinga Reddy has said on Wednesday February 2 that the Congress will stage a protest in front of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) office on Saturday to highlight the government’s apathy to fixing potholes in the City.
Speaking to mediapersons he said that despite the Karnataka High Court’s orders, the BBMP and the State Government have failed to fill potholes.
“Potholes have claimed the lives of nine people so far. On Saturday, we have planned a protest outside the BBMP office. If permission is given, we will gather in large numbers. We will stage a symbolic protest if this does not happen,” he said.
