Bengaluru: President Ram Nath Kovind will visit Udupi on December 27 to attend a felicitation programme organised by union minister Uma Bharati to her spiritual guru, seer Vishvesha Tirtha of Pejavar Mutt.
Uma Bharati is organising this event as a Guru Vandana on the occasion of 80th anniversary of Sanyasa deeksha of the swamiji.
According to the sources in the state protocol section, special security arrangements will be done in Udupi as part of the event. “Several dignitaries from across the country are attending the event,” informed officers.
