Bengaluru: Rudragouda Patil’s auditor Chandrakant Kulkarni was arrested by the CID police for his alleged role in the rigging of the PSI examination. He is named as the main accused in the scam.
On Monday May 2, the CID police arrested candidate Prabhu Sharanappa for questioning based on information provided by the arrested suspects. Sharanappa is suspected to have used bluetooth device to write the PSI exam. Prabhu’s father, is said to have given auditor Chandrakant Kulkarni Rs. 50 lakh.
According to sources, Rudragouda Patil, the prime suspect, allegedly hired an auditor in 2015 to turn black money into white.
