Bengaluru: A team of CID officials on Saturday May 14 raided Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Shanthakumar and five others allegedly involved in the PoliCe Sub-Inspector Examination scam.
According to sources, the houses and other places of the six accused that included Manjunath, Harsha, Lokesh, and Sridhar of the recruitment wing apart from Shanthakumar in the City and other districts were raided. Documents including passports, hard disks, pen drives, property documents, bank-related documents and mobile SIM cards were confiscated.
It is gathered that huge transactions took place in this scam and CID officials for more proof undertook the raids.
