Bengaluru: Prohibitory orders have been issued by Bengaluru Police Commissioner Kamal Pant for the PUC exams, which will be held from April 21 to May 18.

On exam days, photocopy (Xerox) centres, cyber cafes, and other establishments offering computer services within 200 metres of educational institutions around the city should be closed between 9.00 am and 1.30 pm. Within that area, any gathering of four or more persons will be prohibited.

To ensure that examinations are free of malpractice, the Bengaluru Urban Deputy Commissioner suggested that the Police Commissioner issue prohibitory orders and close photocopy centres/cyber cafes within 200 metres of educational institutions.

Pant said that those who violate the law will face action.
