Bengaluru: On Monday November 22, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai announced that Rs. 500 crore will be released for the repair of roads and bridges damaged by heavy rains and floods in various parts of the State.
Speaking to the mediapersons, CM Bommai informed that he has instructed immediate release of Rs. 1 lakh (first installment) to those whose houses have been entirely damaged as well as the release of money for those whose houses have been partially damaged.
He said that the crop loss survey is being done and that compensation will be provided as soon as the report gets posted to the designated app.
Chief Minister will visit the rain affected areas of Kolar District and Hoskote in Bengaluru Rural District.
