Ramanagara: Police has managed to arrest three persons on charges of murdering a woman. It is said that a bike skidded off in front of Ramanagara Deputy Commissioner’s Office on Bengaluru-Mysuru highway on the midnight of Tuesday May 10. Two men and a woman were travelling in bike.
The police rushed to the spot and shifted unconscious woman to hospital. But the doctors confirmed that the woman died 10 to 12 hours earlier. Following this, the police soon arrested bike riders Nagaraju and Vinod, who confessed the crime.
The deceased has been identified as Shwetha, a native of Rajarajeshwarinagara in Bengaluru. Shwetha estranged from her husband was staying in her friend Durgi’s house. On Monday May 10, gold jewellery was stolen from Durgi’s house, and she questioned Shwetha about it. Durgi even assaulted her with stick.
Shwetha died on Monday night itself. Durgi and her husband tried to throw body into the lake in Ramanagara District. Durgi’s brother Nagaraju and his friend Vinod were caught by police while shifting body. Ramanagara Town Police registered a case and arrested four persons in this connection.
