Farmers, people, employees and labourers are reeling under the impact of the torrential rains. People rushed to the spot as it was raining incessantly. Most of them did not come out of their homes because it was very cold along with the rain. The farmers are in tears as the ragi crop has been destroyed due to the torrential rains caused by the cyclone.
The farmers had already harvested ragi in their agricultural fields to sow the crop. There is a fear among the farmers that the rain will germinate the ragi crop.
