Ramanagara: “The District Administration is making sincere efforts to create an impression among the public that the Government is at the doorsteps of the people by visiting the people and distributing the benefits of the schemes to the people,” said Additional Deputy Commissioner Shivananda Murthy.
Speaking after inaugurating a programme at Santhemogenahalli Village in the Taluk, he said that the District Administration has started the task of identifying the beneficiaries and delivering them to their homes for distribution of various Government benefits including pahani, pension, and monthly pension for differently-abled persons, etc.
“If the eligible people of the village are denied the facility, it is sanctioned to them while they are residing there,” he added.
“By avoiding the menace of middlemen and delivering the scheme to the deserving, we are trying to give the public the idea that the Government services are available at their doorsteps,” he asserted.
