Ramanagara: Bengaluru Rural MP D. K. Suresh said “We have invited anyone who can accept the Congress party’s ideology and come to the party. Our party has formed a committee for this. You have to apply to this committee. There is a committee of senior leaders and it is headed by Rahman Khan. They will examine and decide whether to include the said applicant in the party or not. In this regard there should not be any confusion,” he said.

Speaking after inaugurating the development works at Bettanagere Village in Ramanagara Taluk, which has been selected under the Pradhan Mantri Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana, he said, “Many villages in my constituency have already been developed under Adarsh Gram Yojana. The main objective of the scheme is to provide basic amenities to every village that is selected in Sansad Adarsha Grama and make it a model village.

The Congress party has its own history. The rule of the party is that everyone should come together and form a party organisation, he added.

There are no personal issues with anyone here. Be it Siddaramaiah’s, D. K. Shivakumar’s or any other State Leader, there is no question of prestige. The party has to grow. Congress workers should unite in the whole of India and commit themselves to eradicating the BJP’s misrule in this State. That is why all the leaders are working together,” he said.
