Ramanagara: Police have arrested six persons, including a hardware engineer working at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, for allegedly hacking into government servers make false RTCs and then used those RTCs to sell land parcels.
The accused have been identified as Chikkamari Gowda, Narasimhamurthy, Raghavamurthy, Arun, Nandish, Shivaraju.
According to police, those arrested include brokers, cyber owners, real estate agents, and a hardware engineer who worked at the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
A complaint that names 7 persons, including a land buyer, and was filed at the CEN Police station in the District led to the arrest of the accused. According to authorities, the search for the other accused in the case is ongoing.
