Speaking at a protest organised by the Congress against the attitude of officials and MLAs alleging that there was discrimination in grants in Bidadi Municipality, he said, “If any MLA or representative takes up a development programme, it is not their own, it is Government money. It is the money that comes from the taxes paid by the people. However, there is no money in the Government and they are chanting the mantra of development only by word of mouth. He alleged “There are no new schemes except 3 crore project, even he has recieved that just like other MLAs. Therefore, A. Manjunath should stop lying,” he said.
He had said that he would give details of the development works at the contact meeting, but, why didn’t he open his mouth?. People should know what they are doing, come and tell them in public,” he challenged the MLA.
