Ramnagar: Various development works worth Rs. 145 Crore will be launched in the next two weeks in Ramnagara, Channapattana, Kanakapura, Magadi and Bidadi Municipalities limits in the District said Higher Education Minister Dr. C. N. Ashwath Narayan.
He was speaking after participating in the 67th Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations on Tuesday November 1. He assured that accommodation and other civic amenities are being provided to the vulnerable including pourakarmikas in the District. In addition, various development works have been sanctioned under the Chief Minister’s Nagarothana Yojana. Works worth Rs. 10 Crore will also be taken up in Harohalli Town Panchayat limits, he said.
“There are ample opportunities for the growth of Tourism and Hospitality Industries in the District. An important meeting of interested entrepreneurs and investors has already been held to make effective use of these opportunities,” he said.
