Bengaluru: A city court granted bail to Kanakapura Shrinivasa, producer of the film
Ranam and three others. The court directed them to furnish two sureties of Rs.50,000 each for the bail.
It can be recalled that at the time of climax shooting on March 29 in Bagaluru industrial area, a mother and her daughter died in a gas cylinder explosion. Five days later, the Bagaluru police had arrested Kanakapura Shrinivas from an unknown destination in Tamil Nadu.
Cheeranjivi Sarja and Ahima Chetan are playing the lead roles in this movie. The cylinders were kept for the car explosion scene in the climax, but they exploded even before the start of the climax shooting.
