Bengaluru: Following criticism from his own party leader and the public outburst, former minister and suspended BJP leader Gali Janardhana Reddy apologised for his insensitive remarks on the death of Rakesh, elder son of former CM Siddaramaiah.
In a press release, he offered an unconditional apology to Siddaramaiah and his family. On Tuesday he had alleged that Rakesh’s untimely death is the punishment for the sins committed by Siddaramaiah when he was the Chief Minister.
Meanwhile, accepting the apology, Siddaramaiah, who was in Shivamogga said that nobody should resort to making such statements.
