Bengaluru: In a big stride forward in the use of technology to take the medical care to the communities, the state government has decided to launch six virtual clinics.
These virtual clinics will work around the clock. Doctors and experts will be available for the treatment and suggestions at any time.
In six months these clinics will be made operational.
“The RGUHS will set up a modern studio in Bengaluru. From Bengaluru the patients in the remote areas can explain their problems to the doctors and get prescription,” explained DC CN Ashwatta Narayan, Deputy Chief Minister.
With the virtual reality being almost a reality, the new concept is expected to revolutionise medical care in rural areas.
