Bengaluru: Daughter of a senior excise officer from Hospet in Bellary district has alleged that excise minister H Nagesh is demanding 1 crore to transfer her father to Bengaluru on health grounds and wrote to the PMO stating the same.

M Sneha, daughter of Mohan Raj, joint commissioner, excise department, Hospet wrote this letter.

In her letter to the Prime Minister’s Office, Sneha alleged that her father who served the department for five years has been asked to give 1 crore rupees for a transfer to Bengaluru as he has renal, BP and diabetic problems.

“Even though five joint commissioner posts are vacant, the minister is not filling these spots.” she stated.

She alleged that Nagesh also transferred 600 officials by taking money.

However, minister Nagesh denied the allegations. He warned to file a defamation case against Sneha.
