Bengaluru/Hyderabad: Narcotics control bureau (NCB) sleuths from Bengaluru seized 9.1 kg drugs valued over Rs 9 crores in international market from the residence of nabbed Air force wing commander Rajashekhar Reddy at Vidyapuri in Secunderabad recently.
During a raid on the rented accommodation of Rajashekhar Reddy, the sleuths also seized drugs along with the equipment used in manufacture. Later, they handed over the seized items and equipment to a court in Hyderabad.
During simultaneous raids, the NCB sleuths arrested Hyderabad based operator Ravishankar Rao who spilled the beans on the group’s modus operandi. Based on a tipoff, the NCB sleuths had nabbed another accused Venkatarama Rao, a scientist and his wife Preethi.
It may be noted, wing commander Rajashekar Reddy employed at Nandewada in Maharashtra was arrested earlier.
