Bengaluru: Two days after he was sacked by the state cabinet, former minister Ramesh Jarakiholi arrived at the city from Bengaluru on Sunday night. He has called a closed door meeting with 25 of his supporter MLAs who are disgruntled following cabinet expansion.
According to the sources, Ramesh Jarakiholi is engaged in a bargain with the BJP national leadership forced eight minister posts including DCM post for himself. “The BJP national leadership is ready for this, but BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa is against the creation of DCM post,” said sources.
“A clear picture in this regard is expected by Monday evening,” added a senior Congress leader.
Meanwhile, speculations are rife that the disgruntled leader is all set to bid adieu to the Congress.
However, his brother Sathish Jarakiholi has ruled out any such possibilities.
