Bengaluru: A State Government agency has set up Pedal Port, a self-service kiosk to repair cycles. The kiosk has come up at the exit of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Metro Station’s near Vidhana Soudha.
The Directorate of Urban Land Transport piloted the project at Church Street, and in the last year it was made pedestrian-friendly.
Pedal Port is a unique, and first of such initiative where cycle pumps and tools such as screwdrivers, tyre levers, keys, and spanners are available for self-service. Cyclists can fix the repairs on their own at the kiosk.
