Bengaluru: Former CM Jagadish Shettar who was minister for industries in the previous BJP government led by BS Yediyurappa announced that he will not join new cabinet led by CM Basavaraja Bommai.
“I will work for the cause of the party,” he stated.
“High command has not issued any directions. But I am decided against joining the cabinet. I will work for the party,” he said.
“This is my personal decision. I am not interested to become a minister again,” he said.
Earlier Newskarnataka.com reported that the BJP high command was not interested to continue senior leaders including Shettar in the new cabinet and decided to give chance to young leaders.
