Bengaluru: Karnataka Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee president Laxmi R Hebbalkar has appointed presidents for 12 District Mahila Congress Committees.
In a release, Laxmi R Hebbalkar said the appointments were made after consulting MLAs of the respective districts, ministers and Congress leaders. “These appointments were made to strengthen Congress party in the respective districts,” she said.
The following are the presidents of District Mahila Congress Committees: M Kamalakshi Rajanna (Bengaluru Rural), Vijaya S Hiremath (Belgaum city), T Padma (Bellary city), K H Vanamala Devaraj (Chikmagalur), P K Meenakshi (Chitradurga), Shalet Pinto (Dakshina Kannada), Shyla Venkatareddy Kamareddy (Dharwad rural), Devaki Yoganand (Hubli-Dharwad city), Roopa Muniyappa (Kolar), Anjana Sreekanth (Mandya), Nimala Benni (Raichur) and B C Parvathamma (Ramanagara).
